In 1953, my father Herman Ulibarri opened his first jewelry store in Denver CO.
When seeing my Dad or saying goodbye, he always had to kiss you two times. I had to honor him, with the gift
he gave me.
I was surrounded by Jewelry my entire childhood. By the time I turned 15 I knew I wanted
to be a metalsmith.
Primarily self-taught with just one jewelry class,
I owe my knowledge, skills and invaluable guidance to my father, two talented brothers, uncles,
and a childhood friend.
